Internet Commerce Association (ICA)

The ICA was established in September of 2006 to protect and promote the rights and interests of domain owners.

 

InterNIC

InterNIC (Internet Network Information Center) provides public information regarding Internet domain registration services.

 

ICANN

ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) is responsible for managing Internet's domain name system, including the assignment of domain names and IP addresses world wide. 

 

IANA

IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) controls numbers for protocols, the Country Code Top Level Domains, and maintains the IP Address allotments.

 

CADNA

CADNA (Coalition Against Domain Name Abuse) is a non-profit organization focused "on ending the systematic domain name abuses that plague the Internet today."

 

WIPO

WIPO (World Intellectual Property Organization) handles, among other things, domain name dispute resolution.
