ABOUT
I’ve been a technology
entrepreneur since my college days, when a few classmates and I started a computer consulting company while still in
school. After graduation, I decided to skip Corporate America and start a custom software development and accounting software
implementation business.
Over the next 20 years, I
hired staff, spun off a software company, and with the help of countless people, grew two successful businesses. We enjoyed the good times, weathered the tough times, and learned so much along the way. It was an amazing ride shared with amazing people.
After 20 years, however, it
was time to spend more time with the family and try something new. I sold both businesses and was
looking forward to a one year sabbatical before starting a new business. During this “down time,” I discovered the world of Domains,
Web 2.0 and Monetization. The sabbatical lasted three weeks.
I dove head first into this
new world. Much to my surprise, there was a ton of stuff on the web: blogs, forums, auction sites, news articles, and best of all, people candidly sharing their knowledge and
experiences.
Every blog I read pointed
to many more blogs that I hadn’t yet discovered. I found more forums, more blogs, more ebooks,
and even a few industry conferences. Eventually, I couldn’t keep track of all of the websites.
Information overload! Thus came the idea for EverythingDomains.com: a site summarizing all of the resources on the web for
anybody interested in the Domain Industry.
EverythingDomains.com is
the first of what will be many projects for my new venture, DomainTeam, Inc., a domain investment and development company. We will invest in
relevant domain names, and develop them into high quality web destinations that will attract interested visitors and earn their repeat
visits.
For those of you who have
enlightened me in this exciting industry and continue do to so every day, I would like to express a heart-felt THANK YOU. I look
forward to working with you in the coming years.
